Aare Onakakanfo of Yoruba land, Iba Gani Adams has revealed how the South West can separate from Nigeria without bloodshed.

The Yoruba leader said that it was possible for Oduduwa Republic to be actualized without war.

Adams said for Nigeria to remain as a unit, President Muhammadu Buhari must not ignore renewed calls for restructuring.

He noted that the call for Oduduwa Republic became necessary as the Nigerian state was failing.

Our people in diaspora see a lot of things that we that are in the country don’t see, and these are people that are highly exposed and know whatever is happening in the global community, and this is why they are asking for a separate nation, and I also agree with them,” he was quoted by the Sun at the weekend.

“We can have our Oduduwa Republic in a peaceful way through a referendum. Nigerians from the different zones will cast their votes and decide whether they want Nigeria to remain as one or not. I agree with the Secretary of the Arewa Consultative Forum who said recently that we could break up Nigeria without war,”
he added.

He lamented that the country cannot move forward with the way it was going, noting that injustice, nepotism and corruption were on the increase.

He alleged that 85% was given to the North at the recent recruitment in DSS while less than 15 per cent was allocated to the South.

.. That's the problem with some Nigerians, when they are not benefiting from a particular government they will go against everything about that government as if they have the love of the country at heart. If he was given an appointment, he wouldn't have said all these.
That man should go and sit down.

One will expect to see a majority of Yoruba youths support this course of break up but alas it won't be so. Isn't it clear enough that Nigeria is not a country designed with you welfare in mind? Can't you all see it? Sunday Igboho was disappointed by the majority response of the youth. Pastor Adeboye has spoken recently after allegedly having a meeting with the presidency. Today, Gani Adams has come out in the open to say the same thing. This is because they've seen that it is the most honourable thing to do. Why should thousands continue to die yearly just to sustain a colonial contraption? Which is more valuable? Lives of the people or the system of political relationship? The lives of people should come first.
SUPPORT THE DISINTEGRATION OF NIGERIA, IT IS MORE BENEFICIAL THAN RUNNING IN A DOWNWARD SPIRAL.
Death to the evil contraption.

I'm happy real Omoluabis are now wiser

God bless real Omoluabis

Tinubu is a bastard drug dealing vagabond
yeroba Muslims are not real yerobas but immigrants from futa jalon that settled in Southwest

I wanted to type something crazy then i remembered that this man was one of the few senseable men from South West who stood against General Buhari during 2014 election

I remembered that he re-echoed that Northerners will only use you and dump you like a rag when it matters most

The list below are the evil minded people (i can remember) who intentionally push Nigeria into this present calamity by supporting General Buhari

Obasanjo
Pat Utomi
Soyinka
Tinubu
Ngige
Amaechi (you can add to the list if you remember)

For the children on nairaland that might want to quote me wrongly, please make sure you get full education on what happened to Nigeria economy in 1983-1985 when this same Buhari was the Head Of State

Sometimes I wonder why most Yorubas find break up as a treat. Is it a crisis of confidence or that of pessimism?

Is it that they are afraid of building a nation for themselves or blindness of 21st century world?

For truthful sake, if only the Igbos have what they have. Many of them are blinded by 2023 presidency. An expectation you are not sure if it will be actualised. Besides, what benefits did they get from Obasanjo presidency?

This call for break up only became loud after Tinubu treatment. Lol.

With geographic information systems across the world, the properties will still belong to the owner who has identified with his/her new country. Just like how we have properties in Ghana and other countries, people will be free to carry out trade, travel between the countries but MUST abide by the laws of the countries. They will tax foreigners and their properties. Movement across the world oa still free and neighbours must find ways to stay in peace with themselves.

They believe that splitting Nigeria will favour the Igbos more who have been the champions of Nigeria breakup, and anything that will favour the Igbos is not acceptable. They rather die than to support that. If they can reason through their leader Gani who sees the reasons those in diaspora are calling for separation.

Restructuring is better than complete break up, complete break up, may take time and long way to get it actualised.

Restructuring will set in competition and competitive environment will bring development
