They better reform them because they started the boko haram crisis. Simple take suspect to court they got emotional and wasted the suspect. See how much that has cost us.Yet the military men who pick the suspect show maturity and didn't take laws into their hands 1 Like |

Let me tell Buhari that the vast majority of Nigerian police men and women are ineptly corrupt, Nigerian police stations are like revenue collection centres or better put, profit generating ventures....if doubt me...have a police case then you will understand how far....there is only one way to sanitize this Police....Increase the salaries of these people, l then increase the minimum requirement for entry into the force and finally have them undergo psychological and mental evaluation before giving them gun. Anything short of these is mere noise 5 Likes |

Remii:So how do we change the society na!? Because nobody is going anywhere and we are borning more children to ADD to the bad society already. You can't flog everybody to discipline. You can't force everybody into church to be good and holy. You the leader must show my example. Work with your people. Buy innoson car, support local manufacturers and stop running to Oyibo country everytime to dash them our Nigerian money for your medical treatment. Use our local Nigeria doctors here, to treat yourself. Pay doctors salaries and lecturers salaries so they stop going on strike all the time.. If you refuse to do this, the society will remain the same, no improvement and everyone will turn criminal. 2 Likes |

Local policing is the only way forward, America uses that method and it's working, It's not perfect but at least, when it works, it works, unlike this, how can a sokoto man understand a bayelsa man? Most times language can help reduce conflict, if the police man talking to people speak their language, they will most likely listen to him |

GOTVee: The SARS people that terrorize the people are not some few bad eggs. This is the result of an entrenched culture of impunity, reckless and unbridled abuse of power. SARS must go first before any other thing. 4 Likes |

flyingpig: You might as well sack the entire police force!!! SARS is not the sole issue with the force... They are merely the scapegoats. The entire police force has been begging for a bloody reform for years, and this has constantly fallen on deaf ears!!! Had there not been widespread protests, the same idiots in power would not have done a damn thing. 1 Like |
