....scheduled 14th-15th to flag-off campaign



The Government of Adamawa State through its Ministry of Health and Human Services have announced the flagging -off ceremony of free Insecticides treated mosquitos nets (ITNs) distribution across the twenty local government in the state.

The Director public health in charge of Malaria Services who is a public health expert, Mr Isaac Kadalla said Adamawa Government in collaboration with Federal Ministry of Health, Catholic Relief Services (CRS) and National Malaria Elimination Programme (NMEP) have scheduled 14th October 2020 at Government House Banquet Hall for the flagging -off ceremony.

He said the Executive Governor of Adamawa state, Rt Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri is the special guest of honour during the flagging off ceremony, the First Lady, Hajiya Lami Ahmadu Fintiri is the Net Ambassador guest and Dr Sulaiman Sa'idu Bashir, Executive Chairman, Adamawa state primary health care agency will be the Host of the occasion.

The announcement according to him is to serve as an open invitation to the general public that the free distribution of the ITNs is to every Household in the state.

He said there are about 3 million ITNs already been transported to all the designated warehouse in all the 21 LGAs waiting for on distribution on the 14th-15th October 2020.
