Nigeria today is divided into two categories of people regarding the current issue of the defunct Police Unit, code named SARS. They're the End SARS categories and Reform SAR/NPF categories.

As fate will have it, the End SARS has achieved their major goal, which is for the government to scrap the dreaded police unit called SARS. The Inspector General of Police had on Sunday announced the nationwide scrapping of SARS with the promise to come up with another unit to take up the role of the defunct SARS.

Now does that solve our problem? And why are the protesters still protesting even after cancellation of SARS? That's the question on many lips. And as believed by many, this scrapping will not solve our problem until the IGP and the Federal Government do the right thing by attending to the plights of the officers. Especially the lower cadres.
