King Williams Children's Library ( KWCL ) is a Social Enterprise that is now operating in the Ikorodu ( Mowo-Kekere, Elepe, Ijede Road, Ladegboye, Eleshin and Omitoro ) area of Lagos State. This Library is really interested in improving and developing an intense reading culture among kids and teenagers in Nigeria. King Williams Children's Library is a Children's Organization which is determined to improve the reading culture amongst children and teenagers in Nigeria. Yes, people still read books in Nigeria. You might find it hard to believe this fact, but it is very true. The internet cannot replace books, especially for kids and teenagers. E-books cannot replace physical books because holding a physical book is a great experience. Thanks for your concern and interest in our Library. Cheers.

King Williams Children's Library ( KWCL ) News Bulletin.

Hello, how are you. King Williams Library held its first Summer Library Project for four weeks in August 2022. The venue of the event was the Redeemed Christian Church of God ( RCCG ), Safe Haven Assembly, Mowo Kekere, off Ijede Road, Ikorodu, Lagos. It was three weeks of children being allowed to borrow books and DVDs for a week at very low prices. We also held a Spelling Bee Contest which generated a lot of interest among families in the area and in the church. The Spelling Bee was well attended and prizes were given to the winners. Children also borrowed lots of books and thronged the venue of the library daily. The library ran from 9.00 AM to 3.30 PM every day ( Monday to Friday ). KWCL is planning towards a more successful summer library project in 2023. With your support, we know we can cover more areas of Ikorodu and Lagos State.
