The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Mohammed Adamu, NPM, mni has set up a new Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Team that will replace the scrapped Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS). The dissolution of SARS created a gap in enforcing the Robbery Act, to bridge this gap, the Team was created.
