The EndSARS protest by Nigerians yielded a positive response, as the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad SARS unit was disbanded by the Inspector General of Police, Mr Mohammed Adamu. But a new unit has been created.

The new unit goes by the name SWAT "Special Weapons and Tactics", and its rules and mandates are different from those of the disbanded SARS. These rules were signed into law by the Police Force PRO Abuja, DCP Frank Mba, who stated that the new unit will undergo a thorough psychological and medical examination to ascertain their fitness, and that no member of the Disbanded SARS will be in this new unit.

based on how special the swat team go be naa.. Adamu we no want your special team, just end the police brutality and stop corrupt practices in the force, fund the police properly with their money and stop embezzling it.. how simple can this be?
