*OWELLE PROGRESSIVE UNION LAUDS OBIANO, RESTATE ALLEGIANCE TO IGWE SIR ANTHONY ONYEKWERE (KSM)*


Owelle Progressive Union, has lauded His Excellency Chief Sir Willie M Obiano (Akpokuedike Global) for his Prudential management of the resources of Anambra State which has consistently placed Anambra State among the first five state with Fiscal sustainability discipline and for his commitment towards the tranquility and security of Owelle Town.


Owelle Progressive Union in a Press Release made available to newsmen online stated that the news did not come to them as a surprise taking into cognisance the financial and Prudential background of His Excellency, Chief Sir Willie Obiano (Odogwu Omambala).


*Hon. Samuel Ibechi, The President General, Owelle Progressive Union expressed delight that despite the impact of covid 19 pandemic on the economy of Nigeria and the dwiddling Federal allocation, Chief Dr. Willie M Obiano has remain consistent in the prompt payment of salaries and emoluments of Anambra Civil Servants while giving a facelift to every sector of the State.*


The Union lauded the commitment of His Excellency in ensuring that peace reigns supreme in Owelle Town through the Ministry of Local Government and Community Affairs which placed a ban on elections into various leadership position in all Towns in Anambra State due to the raveging covid 19 pandemic.


*The Union further called His Excellency Chief Dr. Willie Obiano to disregard a fraudulent mischief making group masquerading themselves as "Owelle Autonomous Community" whose aim is to hoodwink the general public and destabilize the relatively peace which the good people of Owelle Town are currently experiencing.*


*For the avoidance of doubt, there is no record of the existence of the group with Anambra State Government as well as Anambra State Association of Town Unions (ASATU).*


*The President General of Owelle Progressive Union, Hon. Samuel Ibechi, The Onowu of Owelle Town, Chief Christopher Udeze and all the good people of Owelle Town through Owelle Progressive Union, the only Association recognized by the State government as well as ASATU has continued to maintain that the Igweship of Owelle Town is not in contest as the subjects are still at peace with HRH Igwe Sir Anthony Onyekwere while still urging his Excellency to Forgive his shortcomings as to err is human and to Forgive is divine.*


Owelle Progressive Union is unwavering in it's resolved and allegiance to Igwe Sir Anthony Onyekwere who has continued to show remorse over the activities that led to his suspension while maintaining his allegiance to Anambra State Government and advancing the peace of Owelle Town.
