Say Newton did not postulate any law or theory, the work or Newton will still be unrivalled by any. you said Newton was involved in only one law, but do you know that the calculus as you know it today is the work of Newton, how about spectral nature of light and many more, can you imagine physics, mathematics even chemistry without calculus, we would still have been limited to add-sub- multiplication by now-where would that get us.

you might here other names in calculus, but there works where just further application of what Newton did.

Einstein theory of time?, Newton calculus say dx/dt, a changing time.
you see Newton's work is like the OS of a system on which every other software runs, even the complex part of chemistry that is used for actual production use calculus.

you just have to read about Newton to appreciate him more.
