Amidst the nationwide #EndSars protest that has been lingering for a few days, Youths in Benin have taken to Police station to register their grievances at the City Central Police Station. Youths numbering hundreds armed with dangerous weapons stormed the popular Oba Market Police station chanting solidarity songs after spending hours at the Oba Ovonramwen square (Ring Road). The D.P.O of the Police station quickly ordered his men to lock the gates as he was en addressing the protesters from the first floor of the building. Below are some of the photos taken. |
