It is more like a common occurrence typical of most of us here if not all in our daily life's.
The other day i and my buddies had a heated argument concerning this same subject matter .pesonally I experience this paralysis usually when am really exhausted and even get to visialise certain stuffs,Which are most likely unreal dunno maybe it's just in my head.

major causes are
sleep deprivation, or a lack of sleep.
A changing sleep schedule
Sleeping on your back
stress
Excessive daytime sleep

I experience it more when i sleep on my back. I stopped and SP was gone for me.

For stress.. I go just go high go sleep .. Wont feel d stress when i wake up neither the SP experience

Yeah "sleep deprivation" is the key word although dem Blunt works like magic in alleviating SP
