SAD! COFFIN CONFISCATED, CORPSE THROWN ON THE FLOOR DURING BURIAL AS GRIEVING FAMILY COULD NOT PAY BILLS


It was a sad moment for a grieving family in the town of Tehuacan in the Mexican state of Puebla after the funeral proceedings for their dead son was disrupted by funeral directors who insisted the £120 bill expected of the family be paid in full before continuing.

The family could not afford the bill; hence, the teenager’s body was removed and left in the garage, right on the concrete floor, while the directors confiscated the coffin in defiance to pleas from the mourners to accept about 900 pesos as part of the payment.

The situation was later brought under control but not until mourners took to social media to solicit donations towards the burial.

The teen, 19, died from natural causes and the funeral bill came to 3,500 Mexican pesos – about £120.

According to a Spanish reporter, the family is so poor and did not have the money to pay for the funeral.
