Barely five days after Nigeria celebrated her 60th independence anniversary, an event that is positioning itself to be the biggest for the West African country hit the scene. It’s a protest against police brutality in the country, which is gradually shaping itself to be a movement against bad governance that has birthed most of the challenges the Nigerian citizenry has since been battling with.

It all started on Tuesday, October 6, 2020, when footage, showing operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), a defunct unit of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), shot a man at close range, after which they drove away in his car, surfaced the internet. This video which went viral not too long after it got posted, rekindled #EndSARS, an agitation against police brutality in the country.

This people think that, we youth dn't know what were doing. What are they tryna do! Sars is the same with swat ,& the meaning of "SARS" is ,SPECIAL ANTI_ROBBERY SQUAD., Which means they dn't train or exam done,all they do is to remove a prisoner which is abt 5 or 6 yrs in prison.
