The Reset Nigeria Movement has condemned in strong terms, the attack of a police station and a prison by criminals hiding under the ongoing #EndSARS protests in Benin City. A prison of Sapele road was attacked Monday morning by thugs, freeing inmates. A police station and a commercial bank along the road were also destroyed in the melee. Convener of the Reset Nigeria Movement, Osaro Onaiwu said the development was totally unacceptable. "It appears criminals have hijacked the protest to perpetrate their heinous agenda." Onaiwu called on security chiefs in Edo state to move swiftly to restore law and order. He stated that the police, DSS and other security agencies must fish out trouble makers who are causing chaos in the state. |

The criminals have hijacked the protests. The government will be justified if force is used to curtail the spread of the protests |
