OSUN:The #EndSARS protesters in the state under the aegis of Concerned Youths have insisted that they will return to the street despite attempt assassination of the state governor, Mr Gboyega Oyetola on Saturday.

Recall Mr Oyetola on Saturday while addressing the gathering of the protesters at the popular Olaiya junction, Osogbo, Osun state capital was attacked by unknown hoodlums identified as political thugs.

One of the identified leader of the protesters, Ayo Ologun while granting interview to Rave FM Radio, Osogbo on Monday said the protest will continue since the peoples' demand has not been met, saying protest is a fundamental rights of all citizens.

According to Ologun ” I will meet with other leaders today to decided on when to resume the protest.

Reacting, Public Relation Office of the Osun State Police Command, Yemisi Opalola said the police can not stop them from continuing the protest.

She dismissed the rumor that leaders of the protesters have been placed on wanted list, saying before now the police have been interfacing with the leaders of the protesters through dialogue.
