2000 inmates reportedly released as hoodlums stage yet another jailbreak in Edo state

2000 inmates have reportedly been released after some hoodlums staged yet another jailbreak at Oko correctional facility in Edo state.

Nine persons were reportedly killed during this jailbreak.

This comes hours after hoodlums stormed the correctional facility located along the Sapele Road in Benin City where over 100 inmates were set free.

The state government has since imposed a statewide curfew that began 4pm today October 19.

My brother, you must have been in another continent else from Africa. I bet you feel comfortable walking on the streets there. What makes this work is the system of law and order. We too have that in Nigeria at least to some extent. Now when, the police is being attacked by hoodlums disguised as protesters, that leads to anarchy. Sorry to say but right now in Benin city, there are going to be high rates of crime and there will be no system to deal with the criminals. The jailbreak is not good for that state. Things are going to be upside down. This really is not good for a society. The government will be protected, the masses will be at the Lord's Mercy.

Sorry for my too much talk but the fact is your cause was used to achieve their cause.
