This very Senate is the engine room of corruption. Led by one utterly corrupt Ahmed Lawan, they are tone-deaf to the pains and poverty around them. In the midst of poverty around them, this very Senate collects far more money than any other anywhere in the world. To add salt to injury, they are abysmally redundant. .. just there to rubber stamp the wishes of an equally corrupt presidency. Any structural changes to be made going forward that doesn't include defunding of the national legislature to meet up with the funding of the security agencies and payment of civil servants must not be accepted. The national assembly as it's today is only useful on paper... In practice, it's anti people, counter development and pro corruption. The national assembly needs a total restructuring now!
