Blocking Roads in the name of any protest is a sign of barbarism , greed and authoritarians. The road belongs to everyone and no one has a right to stand in the way of others. In Hong Kong the protesters stayed on the side of the road while Nigerians are celebrating that their youth are blocking roads. Gani Fawehinmi and FELA Kuti never block roads or tried to force the society to join their movement. That's the mark of Authoritarians. In a democracy it's every man for himself. We have protested since 1970 for fuel and so many things and no one blocked the road. Women rights groups do not block the road. Cancer Awareness groups do not block the road. We all have grievances , should I block the road because my phone has been stolen ? Do not inconvenience others in a struggle. A struggle is your own business.

If you have read George Owells Animal Farm or read books on revolutions most of the time they fail because revolutions GRAB AND STEAL POWER. look at Fidel Castro in Cuba, look at Lenin in Russia, Look at even America they fought the British stole land from Native Indians and ENSLAVED BLACKS while shouting Freedom for all. The Best Revolutions are the ones that use peace as a tool. Better still the best revolutions are the ones you do not even know are revolutions.
