No fewer than 148, 864 individuals have signed a petition asking the United Kingdom to sanction members of the Nigerian government and police force for human rights abuses over the # EndSARS movement .
This was as of 09 .20 am when our correspondent visted official webiste of the British parliarment .

You can view the petition statistics or sign the petition here ==> https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/554150

The petition, which was created by one Silas Ojo , seeks to generate 100 ,000 signatures .
According to information obtained from the website , any petition signed by over 100 , 000 individuals will be discussed .
It stated that a date for debate would be announced on the peition .

It reads , “ Parliament will consider this for a debate. Parliament considers all petitions that get more than 100 ,000 signatures for a debate
“ Government will respond . Government responds to all petitions that get more than 10 ,000 signatures. ”
The petition noted that sanctioning government officials would enhance accountability in the country .

The petition on the UK government and parliament website read, “ There have been deeply concerning reports of a Nigerian police force unit ( SARS ) engaging in illegal activities and human rights abuses, and there have also been reports of police firing at protestors calling for SARS to be disbanded .
“ Implement sanctions against the Nigerian Government and officials .
“ The Government should explore using the new sanctions regime that allows individuals and entities that violate human rights around the world to be targeted, to impose sanctions on members of the Nigerian government and police force involved in any human rights abuses by the Nigerian police .

“ Deploying sanctions would provide accountability for and be a deterrent to anyone involved in violations of human rights . ”
Nigerians , especially the youths, have taken to the streets in protest over violations of human right and extrajudicial killing by police personnel , specifically those of the defunct Special Anti - Robbery Squad.

Let me mess with you small.

"Hoodlums have hijacked the protest from us."
You said protest is the right of every Nigerian.
Hoodlums are Nigerians too.
They are protesting the way they know how.
Who are "us" you're referring to?
Did you define yourselves or those eligible to join the protest?
Was it not you calling everybody to join the struggle?
Sowore even called the police to join them in the revolution.
Hoodlums, who are also Nigerians with grievances now joined, and you said they hijacked it. What is hijack?
Did they stop you from doing your own protest?
Did they redefine what you want or change the 5 abi 17 points agenda?
Part of your own agenda is to release your own fellow protesters arrested.
Part of their own agenda is to release their friends that were in prison since (they also thought they were wrongly imprisoned, or no be only them be thieves).
You had no leader, fixed group or coordination, and you called everybody to join you. Hoodlums now joined you, and you said they hijacked it from you.

Please stop the joke.

Let's even assume they've seized control of your own protest, you cannot take back control from ordinary hoodlums, and you want to take control of Nigeria from Buhari and the army? Are you dreaming?

Dear Nigerians, lets not depend wholly on foreigners to help us take charge of our destinies. All they can do is talk. They won't take action. We on the other hand have the power to do what want to achieve our goal.
UK is one of the pathetic countries backing buhari's fulani terrorists regime. They're are active participants of the cover up regarding the death of buhari and the impostor terrorist in Aso Rock.
