SOLUTIONS TO ALL YOUR INFERTILITY PROBLEMS FOR BOTH MEN AND WOMEN by kachiben(m): 11:57am On Oct 22, 2020
INTRODUCTION:

Infertility means inability to get pregnant after a year of unprotected sexual intercourse with a partner (or six months if the woman is 35 years or older). Women who can get pregnant but cannot stay pregnant can also be infertile.
Pregnancy is the result of a multi-step process. For a woman to get pregnant:
(1) A woman's body needs to release an egg from one of her ovaries (ovulation).
(2) The egg must reach the uterus through the fallopian tube.
(3) A man's sperm must fertilize the egg along the way.
(4) The fertilized egg must be attached inside the uterus (implantation).

According to the Centers for
Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), about 10 percent of women (6.1 million)
in the United States between the ages of 15 and 44 have trouble getting or
staying pregnant.
Infertility is not always a woman's
problem. It can be caused by problems affecting both men and women. About
a third of infertility cases are due to problems faced by women. Another third
of infertility problems can be attributed to men. The rest are caused by a
mixture of male and female issues or by unknown issues.

CAUSES OF INFERTILITY:
Causes of Infertility in Men includes:
(1) A problem called a varicocele. It happens when the veins in a man's testicles are too large. This warms the testicles. Heat can affect the number or shape of the sperm leading to low sperm count.
(2) Long distance car drivers.
(3) Sometimes the sperm is blocked by injuries or damage to the reproductive system.
(4) Genetic cause - Sometimes a man is born with problems affecting his semen.
(5) Acquired cause - In other cases, problems arise later in life due to illness or injuries to the reproductive system. For example, cystic fibrosis is one of the major causes of infertility in men.
RISK FACTORS OF INFERTILITY:

A man's semen can be affected by his general health condition and lifestyle. Some things that can affect your health or sperm count include:
(1) Heavy Use of alcohol
(2) Medications
(3) Cigarettes smoking
(4) Age
(5) Environmental toxins, including lead and pesticides

HEALTH CONDITIONS THAT INCREASES THE RISK OF INFERTILITY IN MEN:
(1) Mumps
(2) kidney Disease (KD)
(3) Hormonal problems
(4) Medications
(5) Radiation therapy and chemotherapy for cancer

CAUSES OF INFERTILITY IN WOMEN:

(1) Ovulation problem is responsible for most cases of infertility in women. Without ovulation, no egg in the woman's ovaries to be fertilized. Some of the signs that a woman is not ovulating are usually an irregular or missing period.
Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) often causes Ovulation problems. PCOS is a problem with hormonal balance that can affect normal ovulation. PCOS is an essential cause of infertility in women. Another cause of ovulation problems is primary ovarian failure (POF). POF occurs when a woman's ovaries stop functioning normally before the age of 40. POF is not the same as early menopause.
Occasional causes of fertility problems in women include:
(2) Blocked fallopian tube due to pelvic inflammatory disease, endometriosis, or surgery for an ectopic pregnancy
(3) Physical problems with the uterus
(4) Uterine fibroids, pieces of non-cancerous tissue and muscle on the walls of the uterus.

RISK FACTORS OF INFERTILITY IN WOMEN:
There are many things that can change a woman's ability to have a baby. These include:
(1) Age
(2) Cigarette Smoking
(3) Excessive consumption of alcohol
(4)Poor nutrition
(5) Stress
(6) Athletic training
(7) Overweight or underweight
(cool sexually transmitted Diseases (STDs)
(9) Health problems that cause hormonal changes, such as polycystic ovarian syndrome and primary ovarian failure
(10) Age factors
Advances in the age of the woman (30s and 40s) has higher chance of causing infertility. In fact, about 20% of women in the United States have their first child after age 35. Age is therefore a growing cause of fertility problems. About a third of couples whose wives are over 35 have fertility problems.
Aging reduces a woman's chances of having a baby in the following ways:
(a) At this age, her ovaries produces little or no eggs
(b) At this age, she has little or no eggs
(c) At this age, her eggs become very weak and unhealthy.
(d) She is more likely to have health problems that can cause fertility problems
(e) She is more likely to have miscarriage

How long should women try to conceive before seeing their doctor?
Most experts recommend at least a year. For Women aged 35years and above should see their doctor after a six-month of having unprotected sexual intercourse with the partner without conceiving. A woman's chances of having a baby decline rapidly every year after 30years of age.
