A Nigerian music act,real name Jovie Ekwunife has come up with a solidarity song in support of Nigerian youths who are currently protesting against police brutality,bad governance and the other vices of government.

The song which is currently ruling the air waves is titled Give us our right and it featured about music act, Smartaman.

Speaking with news men in Lagos, the Anambra state born artist said that the song is his own way of supporting the youths who have demonstrated courage by confronting the ills in the country.
According to him, the Special Anti Robbery Squad(SARS)was like a thorn on the flesh of Nigerians,most especially the youths.

He said that instead of fighting crime,they turned their guns on the youths and began to harass, intimidate and kill them with reckless abandon
Cranky Jovy who had collaborated with late MC Loaf in many of his songs said that the youths deserve every form of support and encouragement appeal to the international community to investigate the Lekki massacre and the other killings and bring those culpable to justice

He urged Nigerians to watch out for more of his songs in the nearest future
