Zidane expressed his delight with his team's performance in their 3-1 victory over Barcelona; and defended his players against recent criticism, which he believes has been unfair. Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane had said that the game against Barcelona was a chance for he and his team to “redeem ourselves” after two embarrassing defeats against Cádiz and Shakhtar Donetsk. And that is exactly what they did in the 3-1 win over their arch rivals at Camp Nou.
