It's cowardice, idiocy and hate to threaten a few Igbos in your regions because this is still one Nigeria, not Oduduwa, Arewa or Biafra. Instead of threatening innocent people, be bold enough to demand for breakup. When you have your own country you can decide who to accommodate. Giving quit notice is begging the questions and running away from the reality. If we are tired of being together, we should stand on referendum and subsequent separation. Enough of the noise and attention-seeking touts always dishing quit threats. Let's take the bull by the horns and call for breakup.
I salute the Igbos who have the courage to insist the country should be separated. That's the way to go. In marriage if you are not happy, you don't kill your spouse, you seek for divorce. Let's face the reality and stop the noise. One Nigeria for now is our cross. Let's do the right thing or bear the inconveniences of ONE NIGERIA.

Nobody hold the Igbo tribe to Ransome...a wife that is not interested in his husband's home will go for separation...and keep waiting for the time that the court will give the verdict of their divorce .....

Op, your people know what to do....don't ever in your life threaten anyone with separation or divorce anymore because you know what to do...
So, do the needful and let's see if we will.miss you...

In marriage, when you're not happy, you separate first before divorce. You hardly see any divorce without separation. Just go back to your state and burn your properties. Don't stay in other people's state and instigate destruction of their state.

You are on point my brother

The other tribes are the ones that want one Nigeria. So they are the ones that should live with the Igbos or let's divide for everyone to go their way.

Every part of Nigeria is Igbos' home until we separate. One Nigerian is the language. When we are tired of deceiving ourselves, we will call for separation.

As long as this contraption remains nobody has right to issue quit notice to anyone, if you're not happy with the Igbos in Nigeria you can start a protest in any social media platform with the hashtag #Igbomustleavenigeria, before you know it you will get many likes and it will start trending. But telling them to leave any part of Nigeria is not only foolishness but madness.

Then let the coward Nnamdi Kanu stop trying to destroy people's state with his orders.

I do not give a fig about Nnamdi Kanu and you. I guess your forbearers fought a silly war of unification under the banner of "One-Nigeria" not different states. The moronic dingbats who tend to hype about "statism" in the ongoing do so to exhibit their insincerity in the project called Nigeria.

President Muhammad Buhari is truly not the root of our problems

The president is a secondary cause but our immediate leaders from ward counsellors, LGs chairman, state assembly representatives, Commissioners, federal assembly representative, Senators and generally political appointees at the local and state levels should be our major and primary focus in attempt to redeem the country

This is why some unguided persons will leave their failure of a leader in their native states but come to Lagos and abuja to demand good governance. Charity begins at home

Not until when we first demand accountability from these set of persons do we have the justification to call out the president

VOTE WISELY

Well Igbos have been shown to be incapable to live with other Nigerians.

Why not expel them from Nigeria?. Why would you want to live with people that are causing headache.

It would be far easier to keep Igbos from coming to cause headache in your region if Igboland wasn't part of Nigeria.

I don't hate Igbos. As with any body from anywhere, some are really good and sincere, some aren't.

A husband that doesn't want his wife to go will not send her away and won't file for divorce. A wife that wants to go will separate from the husband and file for divorce.

In my reference to separation and divorce, I spoke only about the igbo that wants to separate from Nigeria but still remain in almost all state. My point was, If they really don't like the Nigeria idea, let them return to their state instead of staying in another person's state and causing trouble.

Also, speaking about separation, if the Igbos are really sincere about separation, they are free to go their way as long as they don't try to force those who don't want or identify with their IPOB idea. It's like a wife who wants to divorce her husband but also try to force other wives into the divorce.

The South South state has said time and time again they have not interest in Biafra. Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Rivers, Edo, Bayelsa, Delta has made it quite clear. If Igbos wants a country of their own, the states of the south east is enough for it. How can you be trying to force your exist from Nigeria at the same time trying to force other states that don't want to be a part of your country into it?

The problem that existed in Endsars protest was because it was hijacked by Nnamdi Kanu in his ever avowed commitment to destroy Lagos and Yorubas.

I will never understand why these same people that characterize Igbos as leeches on society also like supporting the "One Nigeria" mantra. Like why don't they also support Igbos being expelled from the Nigerian state.

Like why can't South East and the majority Igbo villages and towns in South South areas cam just be expelled from Nigeria as its own country.

Because why do you think they are in Lagos in the first place?. When Ghanains were flooding into Nigeria in the 70s and 80s as soon as Nigerians no longer wanted them here, they were easily expelled.

If you are really tired of Igbos coming to your land. Give them their own country and expell all of them there. Hell, even build wall around Igboland and be happy that you will never see them again.

Dr John Oni Gbolabo writes:

Response to Igbo Marginalisation

Someone keeps mentioning that Igbo were marginalized in Nigeria. I was provoked to respond to him this morning. Here we go:
I want anybody with iota of sincerity to nullify my points one by one:

1. In 1959 to 63 Igbo NCNC preferred to team with Hausa NPC to form government then no marginalisation.

2. In 1979 Igbo preferred Hausa NPN to Yoruba UPN and they preferred it to their NPP owned by Zik to form national government, then no marginalisation.

3. In 1993 the Igbo preferred NRC of Hausa to SDP then no marginalisation.

4. In 1999 Igbo preferred Hausa PDP to AD of Yoruba to form national government, then no marginalisation.

5. All along Igbo and Hausa had always been the main national government then no marginalisation.

6. Yoruba had never been in the national party since independence yet Yoruba didn't complain of marginalisation but rather maintain their regional party because Yoruba don't feel inferior neither play victim card.

7. This is the first time Yoruba party will be at the federal and Igbo that had been with federal party are crying marginalisation. It's a pity that assumed educated persons cannot reason to know these facts.

8. Yoruba formed political party and stay with it. From Action Group AG to UPN to AD to AC to ACN to APC and Yoruba didn't merge with Hausa party. Hausa formed NPC to become NPN to NRC to PDP. Igbo formed NCNC to merge with NPN to reemerge as NPP and faction to APGA to merge with PDP.

9. Igbo formed NCNC but merged with NPC of Hausa NPC in 1966, formed NPP by Zik but merged with NPN formed APGA but merged with NRC formed APGA but merged with PDP. Last election some Igbo wore APGA vests and campaign for PDP then no marginalisation.

10. Under Jonathan no Yoruba among the first 17 posts in Nigeria from DSS to aviation to finance to CBN to Maritime to defense then there was no marginalisation.

11. You voted for Jonathan we voted for Buhari, you overwhelmingly voted for Atiku we voted for Buhari. Suddenly some bastards are calling Yoruba Fulani slaves as if Atiku is from another planet.

12. You collect allocation from federal government, you have governors, you have senators, you have reps and chairmen all collecting money from federal purse, you have ambassadors etc yet you are marginalized.

13. You are appointed to political posts in southwest but no single person from Yoruba in your cabinet in all the five Igbo states yet you were marginalized.

14. 90% of your assets are on another man's soil yet you were marginalized.

15. Yoruba choose Tinubu as their political leader you said your culture doesn't permit leadership yet you abuse Tinubu daily that he enslaved Yoruba because you want Yoruba to jettison their culture of leadership like you as you don't recognize leaders. Is that the healing balm of your marginalisation?

15. Tinubu never worked with Federal government talk less of stealing what belongs to Igbo states, why are you people receiving remote pain from Yoruba who didn't complain of Tinubu enslavement?

16. You are threatening to go and nobody stops your from going to Biafra. Lucky you, almost all long distance playing vehicles are owned by Igbo. Why don't you go home for Christmas and refuse to come back and see how Nigerians will suffer.

17. You prefer to attack APC and Tinubu for all problems from Igbo but never talked that same allocations your governors collect is what other states collect and query how they use it.

18. Almost all Igbo elites and politicians have houses in southwest but never ask why same doesn't apply to Yoruba and Hausa to invest in your lands.

19. Kanu was threatening to kill all Yoruba and Hausa calling Buhari a rapist and all other sickening names you didn't caution him but when arrested you cry to hell.

20. You are paying tax to Kanu to buy arms but during Covid 19 crisis you are looking unto same Buhari. How senseless?

21. Kanu himself is using Nigerian passport, spending Nigeria currency but selling Biafra passport for you.

22. He didn't raise funds to address the underdevelopment you cry of but raising funds to buy arms. To fight? Who didn't say he should not go to his town?

23. You labor for PDP but wanted APC to feature your candidate for presidency. How can someone work in First Bank and collect salary in GTB?

24. IPOB keeps attacking government at the same time you are demanding presidential ticket.

It's a pity,my people perish for lack of knowledge

Oni Gbolabo

Very watery ..

All the times when you say yoruba was in opposition lagos was still the federal capital and the centre of govt expenditure and development ...

If the capital was in say Abuja and the country had 3 functioning seaports with equal activity level not this over concentration in tin can and Apapa port ..then you for understand real marginalisation

I am not Igbo and don't support the useless IPob or Nnamdi kanu but intellectually I expected much better from some people in the southwest ..not this watery analogy

In 1993 inspite of the fact that sdp was a Muslim-muslim ticket and NRC had an Igbo running mate ..it was in just one state in the south east that SDp did not get 40% of the votes.
