The Aare Onakakanfo of Yorubaland, Gani Adams called on the Nigerian Governments to return the country to true federalism where every region ran its own affairs and controlled its resources to save the nation from imminent collapse and break up.

The South East, the South South and middle belt stands with the South West in that important but urgent issue of regionalism.

We can drag the core north to the negotiating table and they either choose regionalism or break up. Democracy is all about the majority opinion.

If such is done the SS will be in turmoil because of Ijaw supremacy over other minority tribes of niger delta.

I hope to be wrong. But this demand will never materialize until the north finds a quick money-spinning economy like large scale oil or gold mines.

Let us all wait for them to level up.
