End SARS: Nigeria Risks Resurgence Of COVID-19 – FG by valentineuwakwe(m): 7:25am On Oct 27, 2020 |
The Federal Government has said that the risk of a resurgence of COVID-19 pandemic in Nigeria is high because of the large gatherings of the End SARS protesters and the mayhem that followed. The Chairman of the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19, Mr Boss Mustapha, disclosed this at a joint media briefing of the taskforce on Monday in Abuja. “Over the past two weeks, Nigerians have focused attention on two important issues,” he said. “Namely, the protests by youths which has unfortunately metamorphosed into an unprecedented safety and security situation and COVID-19 developments in the country and around the world. “Both activities are critical to our nation because the security situation impacts negatively on our economy, social life, international reputation and ability to effectively coordinate the national response. “Also, the large gatherings witnessed during the protests and during the break-ins at various warehouses, homes and looting of stores put us at a great risk of a resurgence of the virus,” he added. source: https://dailypost.ng/2020/10/27/end-sars-nigeria-risks-resurgence-of-covid-19-fg/

Una dey mad Corona no dey Nigeria If e dey make e kill una first like Kyari Looking for excuse to get people off the street. Watch as they deliberately increase number of COVID 19 cases and forcefully lock us all in, in order to stylishly quel the unrest. Had they shared CACOVID palliatives, this hunger wouldn't had been there. Had they not increased electricity and fuel tarrif, this aggression wouldn't had been there. Had universities been open, students would be busy writing tests, exams, quizes, and be present inside practical labs. This is the fruit of the failures you sowed. 1 Like |
