Hello good buddies of Nairaland, i want to get a new phone for my little sis and i dont know which to go for. I ve discovered that their prices varies, in some phone shop both prices are same and in other shops either of them are more expensive than the other. Pls i need a candid advice and features while one is preferable to the other from users of this phones and phone savvy.

go to blackberry website and click on 'compare', then juxtapose bold 2 against bold 3, that should help you make your decision.

in my own (biased) opinion bold3 is better because it has more inbuilt memory(it has 512mb) as opposed to bold2's 256mb besides you can easily upgrade bold3 to os6 since the upgrade is readily available, you can upgrade bold2 to os6 as well with 'leaks' however os6 for bold2 is not an official release;
besides battery life on bold 3 is better,

using the compare option on blackberry website will help you put all these little characteristics in perspective and help inform your decision

i find it baffling as well, how bold2 is more expensive than bold3 (which is a lot better) but Nigerians have a follow-follow (crowd) mentality,

yes bold3 is CDMA compatible

what is your budget?

I am trying to get the best offer around. Bold3 does not ve good battery life compare to bold 2. What do you advice considering this

Just go for the Bold 2, its understatedly sexy, something your lil sis will appreciate
