Akainzo:

He has zero social skills? Yet when he goes campaigning you see people around him. Oh the campaign organisation are not people in the 21st century that he can work with?

Well, it seems you did not read the PIB because you believed you would not understand it, thus you concluded that others would not understand it either.  grin
You do amaze me with your ignorance. Just as an aside, I have made contributions towards PIB, thus I know it, need not say too much.

Dude, its called stone age religious frenzy. Nothing to do with the the 21st century.

As for the PIB, your contribution could only have been negative or maybe about putting the signature box at the top of all Shell documents, so people wouldn't need to read before signing for brown envelopes. Olodo!

Beaf:

Don't try to frighten us into maintaining the backward status quo with all that negative crap about NNPC. Other nations of the World have successful oil sectors and they are not more human than us.

As for the bolded, my guy, you shame me! How is it that you cannot think outside a tiny little box? The losses from gas flaring has zilch to do with the nation's gross oil and gas earnings; rather, it has everything to do with the volume of gas flared. Comprende? No?
You are indeed clueless! Let me explain it to you, Gas Flared is that part of gas that you allow to burn off during the production of oil because you want to continue producing oil and do not have capacity to process the gas.
Should you decide not to flare gas, you either have to process it to an LNG /Gas plant or simply shut-in the well, meaning no more oil production as well. So ow I hope you understand why the flared gas is a portion of the total production of a country and thus is related to the gross earnings from oil & gas in that counry. Olodo!

Beaf:

LOL! See comedy!
Here I was, actually thinking I was arguing with someone who had an inkling of the oil sector, sadly its the same "loud dunce syndrome" that is common in places like butchers shops, with hunters and of course, some miseducated Nigerians. embarassed

Thanks to dunces who ruled us in the past (like Buhari), even if the refineries operate at 100% capacity, they might not satisfy Lagos alone. We must import.
I'm beginning to pity you! Maybe you're just tired, but right now a baby chimp will make more sense.

Dem go take laf kpai pesin for NL o! Chai! grin grin grin

You are indeed a comedian posing as a graduate from the school of laughter. You are saying a man that presided over the building of two refineries with a total capacity of 180,000 barrels of oil contributed to the shortages of petroleum products. You are a dimwit.
Since you read my post but could not comprehend, I will repeat for you again. We have enough installed capacity for kerosene but not enough for PMS. Therefore if the refineries were working at 100% capacity under Jonathan as you alluded to, there should be no kerosene scarcity!

But because you and I know that GEJ and his cronies have been siphoning the money off under the subsidy ruse, there has been petrol availability but no kerosene. And there in is the uncovering of the lie that the refineries were working.

At least both of us now agree I might have seen the PIB while you have not! So respect someone that knows more than you and learn. But go a step further, GO AND READ THE PIB.

Your logic is lost in transit. Why do you keep arguing? For fun? shocked
The bolded in your own text shows how we are losing money from flaring. Kindergarten stuff.

Firstly, we do not have the capacity to satisfy demand for any petroleum product, we must import every type of fuel. Stop peddling lies.

As for Buhari overseeing the building of two refineries; has his planning not been a stark failure? We import oil today, because he was so shortsighted that ALL our refineries cannot service Lagos alone, and we are talking about completing refineries only a few years back. LOL!!!
It is what you get when you entrust your petroleum industry to a former cattle rearer who joined the army and refused to go to school when the chances presented themselves.

That we lose money is not in question, does that money amount to $150B was the issue, Dundee.

You are a certified ignoramus that has refused to learn. Giving all the available data, you still cannot process it. Buhari built 2 additional refineries in Nigeria in 1978/1979, and they satisfied all local requirements, much more so that we were exporting to Niger and Chad. The failure has been with successive govenment to maintain them and add additional capacities.

That man passed through the best military schools in the world, he is amongst the elite military men of this world. One of the few men to hold the highest possible military rank in the world. If that man and Collin Powell gets to the Standhurst, he would have seniority over him!

You have no figures and no clue, but you wish to be taken seriously? lol!
I recall you said a few posts earlier that the flared gas wasn't a waste, but counted toward our total production. Atrocious!

Buhari built two refineries that served for how many years? What sort of planning do you call that? Anyway, to cut long stories short, Obj was the one that built the refineries, Buhari was only there to steal the $2.8billion NNPC that went missing during that time and was traced to him by Shagari's Senate.

How dare you compare Buhari and Collin Powell? Did tsetse flies petch on your kunu? shocked
Look at what Buhari said of himself:

I liked rural life and I actually reared cattle.

What makes the above worse, is he never ever attempted to go to proper school at any point. Do you think Collin Powell does not have serious educational qualifications, or that he was somewhere in the Sahel, chasing after cattle when he should have been in school? Damn! angry

For your information, the PIB BS you are spouting makes no sense that replying you is like replying a pork beaf on the meat-slab and that is what you really are! I hope your Job Security specialist non-presidential loser takes you with him when his corrupt and clueless ass is exposed! No wonder the Odechukwu refused to declare his assets until almost crucified as he knew that with his own brain, he had no claim to even the spokes of a bicycle! tongue tongue grin grin grin Crash and burn with your umbeeleeleeelera parachute! grin grin

Jonathan meets with Bode George, Daniel others in Lagos

President Goodluck Jonathan last night met with the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos in his bid for votes from the nation’s commercial capital. The state has the highest number of voters.

Sources said among the people he met with were Chief Olabode George, who has just completed a jail term for contract splitting at the Nigeria Port Authority (NPA) and the governorship candidate of the party in the state Dr. Ade Dosunmu. Other leaders of the party were also at the meeting.

The President came direct from Benin Republic where he went on a visit at the weekend. He was accompanied to the meeting by his Chief of Staff Mike Ogiadomhe.

Sources said the President is worried that the Lagos state PDP governorship candidate has not been receiving the full support and cooperation from the generality of the members of the party. The party is split along various groups.

The dominant group –the establishment- is led by George while 2007 governorship candidate and Nigeria’s High Commissioner to Ghana Mr. Musiliu Obanikoro is heading the Solidarity Group. The Mandate group is led by Former Works Minister Adeseye Ogunlewe. There are also smaller groups.

The President according to sources has been trying to rally the party behind Dosunmu so that the party will not go into the election deeply divided.

It was gathered that settling the crisis in Ogun State also topped the agenda as embattled Governor Gbenga Daniel was said to be at the meeting. Governor Daniel’s men who lost the PDP battle in the state in court, to President Olusegun Obasanjo faction, have moved to little known Peoples Party of Nigeria (PPN).

The President is believed to be ready to stay till Tuesday in Lagos to be able to sort out the problems in the southwest including Oyo State where the party is also bitterly divided. Many party members have vowed to work against the candidacy of Governor Adebayo Alao-Akala.

Re: Jonathan To Build $20 Billion Of Fertilizer & Petrochemical Plants by Nobody: 4:43am On Mar 21, 2011
Meanwhile, if elected, Buhari will most likely just sit on the PIB indefinitely while conducting numerous ''probes'' and delaying our progress.

In the recent debate, he was asked his time frame for providing uninterrupted power. The man said he would first find what happened to the  ''12-16 billion dollars'' he claims was spent on power since 1999.

In other words, we'll wait in darkness for another 4 years for Buhari to do what Buhari does best - conduct  numerous ''probes'', arrest people, jail newsmen etc. Because that is all Buhari knows how to do. Arrest and probe people he claims were corrupt.

He'll keep doing that till they remove him in a coup. That's Buhari for you. Without a doubt the PIB will be put in the back burner (as much because he's suspicious of it's intent as that he can't put his head around it's intricacies).
