THE LIE PYRAMID
Lying is a big business. Every liar knows this.
No matter the lie, every liar knows that if he or she does not play it well, a day will surely come when the lie will
lie open for all to see.
That day is what all liars dread.
Liars have invented a theory which is the belief that for a lie to stand, one needs to support it with other lies.
This in itself is a lie because every supporting lie will definitely need another supporting lie that will need
another supporting lie.
Unfortunately, this cannot continue ad infinitum.
I call this the lie pyramid, but unlike the normal pyramid, this one is upside down. The lie pyramid starts with a
small lie, then it keep building. The next lie will always be bigger than the first; the third will be bigger than the
first and the second. It will continue that way until the first lie can no longer hold all the big lies standing on it,
then it falls and scatters.
At the discovery of Covid-19 palliatives in Lagos State, the govt lied that it was meant for South west states but
due to the protests they were unable to transport them.
Unfortunately for them, Nigerians discovered that south west states had already gotten their own palliatives.
To sustain the first lie, they came up with the story that the palliatives were brought around September.
The question then was, why was it not shared in September?
The answer was that they were waiting for the suspected second phase of Covid-19 outbreak.
Evidence started surfacing on how Borno State already shared theirs in July, how Benue sold theirs in Kano
market. How Akwa Ibom repackaged theirs with "The indomitable pack" sticker to cover where it was written
"not for sell" so as to sell them to the same people it was meant for.
Then, that was how their lies finally caught up with them.
When Lagos State governor lied that there was no death at Lekki toll gate during the protest, they had to
support it with the lie that there was no shooting in the first place and that Nigeria army was not there.
When live videos stated surfacing of the shooting, they came out to claim it was photoshopped and "fake
news".
When they started seeing injured people with gun bullets, they turned it around that it was from forces beyond
their control.
When drilled to reveal those forces, they said it was IPOB and Igbos trying to take over yoruba land.
When that lie could not hold again, they had to shortlist celebrities whom they claimed shared fake news and
incited the people that lead to Lekki Carnage.
Yet, we all watched how before CNN reporter, the "almighty" Sanwo-Olu was shaking like over fed agric fowl
beaten by Osogbo rain. There he admitted that Nigeria soldiers were there at the Lekki toll gate massacre.
So, in their bid to come back to the original question of why the light went off and who ordered the shooting,
they had to hire the "almighty" detective by name Fashola. The failed minister of electricity, better called the
minister of darkness to come and use his long neck to discover the hidden camera.
These old men that call themselves our leaders are despicable. They are old and still dumb. In those days, we
use to think wisdom comes with old age. Apologise to all old people.
The number one quality of the devil is lying, and when the devil comes like a thief according John 10:10, it is to
kill, to steal, and to destroy.
Please, is there anyone who is still searching for the devil or who claims he has not seen one before? Check
very well, he is wearing agbada and is somewhere claiming to be your leader.
Then to mock us more. . .
