Learn to invest and make money with cryptocurrency
In this Cryptocurrency guide, you will learn how to invest in crypto. Also, know what to look out for before investing your money. By the end of this post, you should have a full understanding of how you can make money from Cryptocurrency.

What is Cryptocurrency
It is important to understand what you are investing in before venturing into it. Without any technical jargon, it is a digital asset. Cryptocurrency is a virtual currency that you can trade. It can be exchanged for goods. Think of it as tokens, you can exchange real money for these tokens and you can use these tokens to buy actual things.

Bitcoin
You cannot talk about Cryptocurrency without mentioning Bitcoin. Bitcoin is the king of all cryptocurrencies. Satoshi Nakamoto created Bitcoin in 2009. If you look at the price chart for Bitcoin, you can see how volatile it is. It used to be worth very little, but in the last few years, it exploded in value. It went as high as twenty thousand dollars by the end of 2017. And the price started decreasing. In a matter of a few months, the price dropped below 4000 dollars. Nevertheless, since the last drop, it has recovered a lot but it is still volatile.

How Volatile is Cryptocurrency
To let you understand how volatile Bitcoin is, in 2010, a man in Florida paid 10,000 Bitcoin for two pizzas. Today that is like spending over 90 million dollars on these two pizzas. The evolution and explosion of value for these coins are unbelievable. When the press interviewed the guy who spent 10,000 Bitcoin on these two pizzas, he said he had no regrets. If you think about it, the more the people use the coins the more the value increases. Therefore, this transaction started the cycle of creating value for coins, such as Bitcoin.

The most recent one is by David Schwartz, Ripple’s chief technology officer that sold his 40,000 Ether (ETH) for $1each back in 2012 — a stash that would be worth more than $15.5 million at today’s current prices (Source-Cointelegraph)

Why you should consider investing in Cryptocurrency
It is important to stress that cryptocurrencies are not an asset. For a seasonal investor like Warren Buffett, cryptocurrency is not an investment. However, you cannot rule out the fact that cryptocurrencies have made so many millionaires and many people have lost money on crypto as well. Buying and selling cryptocurrencies involves a lot of speculation.

Let us get to why you might want to get into buying and selling cryptocurrencies. To start with, I suggest you buy crypto with extra money that will not affect you psychologically when you lose it. As we mentioned earlier, that crypto is volatile. If you buy at the wrong time and sell at the wrong time, then you can lose a lot of money. Therefore, it is risky, like the stock market and crypto seem to behave like stocks. I have added Cryptocurrency to my portfolio because it is a cool technology and may become a viable currency in the nearest future.
