Maybe the Federal Government of Nigeria isn't "aware", maybe the IGP isn't "aware", let's just pretend this is the case and give them the benefit of a doubt, even though the doubt is fake. I wish to bring it to your notice that right under your watch, there's this bizarre and illegal conduct being regularly perpetrated by some rogue police officers, the same officers that swore an oath to protect the public. A Constitutional Oath has become of lesser value than lip service to these treasonous government-empowered men of unbelievable corruption.

Up till now, all across this nation, particularly in the South, we witness how it has become the norm for unidentifiable police men with unmarked vehicles and hijacked public transportation such as buses and mini buses etc move around within or outside the jurisdiction of their police station to forcefully at gun point abduct citizens going about their normal activities for frivolous trumped up charges or no charges at all. And these civilians are literally kidnapped by these criminal minded policemen against their will, harassed, assaulted, detained and extorted before they can regain their freedom. And those who can't afford to pay their abductors demands are either framed up with damaging trumped up charges such as armed robbery etc or detained in cells to suffer untold trauma at the mercy of their captors until they decide to release them.

This is nothing but MADNESS and THIS MADNESS must stop in 2020. As the IGP is working on delivering an extensive all encompassing police reform, please let your scope of review also cover this aspect of police illegality and gross abuse of power. The President and IGP should work out their reform to curtail police from going about neighborhoods and cities with unidentifiable paraphernalia, with unidentifiable vehicles, as well as make it totally illegal and a grave offense forcrooked police men to drive around in hijacked transportation picking up civilians anyhow they like for no reason, picking up people randomly like a pack of lions hunting for prey to destroy, picking up innocent people and throwing them inside their hijacked vehicles, kidnapping citizens at gun point for no offense and driving them to unknown destinations. This is EVIL, this is CRIMINAL.

The Presidency and IGP should not relent in their good works, nor should they allow bad criminal eggs within the NPF to continue to destroy the public image of the police. On a final note, bad police is BAD for good police. Therefore, the Presidency and IGP must move swiftly to put an end to this EVIL within the police immediately. Why should citizens move around in fear of being a victim of police illegal oppression and terrorization as they go about their legitimate activities - WHY? Enough Is Enough! Put an end to this brutal form of police victimization and illegalities. No more illegal police raids, illegal arrests and illegal detentions. THIS MADNESS MUST STOP IN 2020!
