*IDE UMUAWULU ON ANAMBRA BROADCASTING SERVICE RADIO: HARPS ON ENVIROMENTAL CLEANLINESS.*

High Chief Azubuike Ekweozor (Ide Umuawulu) has called on all Anambrarians to inbibe the culture of environmental cleanliness as a clean and neat environment translates to a healthy living.


Ide Umuawulu made the above call while speaking as a guest on a live radio program alongside the permanent secretary ministry of environment on Anambra Broadcasting Service Radio hosted by OAP Eze Onwunji The Musicman.


High Chief Azubuike Ekweozor (Nwaanayoeze) recalled the Good old days of Community efforts in environmental cleanliness.


He bemoaned the attitude of the citizens towards the environment as some citizens has made it a point of duty to degrade the environment with refuse dump and plastics.


He called on Ndi Anambra to make use of the refuse dump provided by the State government and to be actively involved in keeping the environment clean.

IDE Umuawulu stated that the task of keeping the environment clean must not be left for the government alone, rather private individuals especially the wealthy ones can support the efforts of the state government by providing trash cans , incinerator among other things.


IDE Umuawulu promised to support the efforts of the ministry of environment in it's "Dobe Anambra Ocha" Initiative.
