The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has released the 2020 Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination result.

Recall that the council postponed the release of the result till Monday, November 2, 2020, due to the violence in the country.

The Head of WAEC Nigeria, Patrick Areghan, said a total of 1,549,740 registered for the examination.

Patrick Areghan, made this know at a briefing in Lagos while announcing the official release of the results of this year’s WASSCE.

The Council said the results of the candidates representing 13.98% of the total number of candidates who wrote the examination are being withheld in connection with various reported cases of examination malpractice.

To check the results, candidates were asked to visit the website of WAEC.
