Set aside individual or political interest and objectively assess the achievements of Governor Ben Ayade of Cross River in five years, taking into consideration the fact that his state is at the bottom of the least revenue earning states in the country:

1. Rice Seeds and Seedlings Factory, Calabar (Completed and operational)

2. Cross River Garment Factory, Calabar (Completed and operational)

3. Instant Noodles Factory, Calabar (Completed)

4. Feed Mill, Calabar (Completed)

5. 24000 per day Frozen Chicken Factory, Calabar (Completed)

6. Toothpick Factory, Ekori, Yakurr (Completed and operational)

7. Cocoa Processing Factory, Ikom (90% completed)

8. Calabar Pharmaceutical Factory (90% completed)

9. Nigeria’s first vitaminised rice mill, Ogoja (90% completed)

10. Piles and Pylon Factory, Akamkpa (Completed)

11. Roofing Tiles Factory, Yala (Completed)

12. Teachers Continuous Training College, Biase (Completed)

13. British-Canadian School, Obudu (90% completed)

14. Bio-fertilizer Factory, Calabar (90% completed)

15. Over 100km of 145km dual carriage Mfom-Okpoma-Bekwarra-Obudu-Obanliku highway completed. Remaining 23km of the Yala axis to be completed this dry season. This is the biggest single road project by any state in Nigeria.

16. Ongoing Dualisation of Calabar-Odukpani to be completed this dry season.

17. Ongoing construction of Boki East-West road to be completed next year.

18. Ultra-modern housing estate for Bakassi returnees (Completed).

19. Construction of Obudu International Airport (Ongoing).

20. 1300 schools enjoy comprehensive rehabilitation

21. Groundnut Oil Factory, Bekwarra (80% completed)

22. Ongoing construction of referral hospitals in Obudu and Akpabuyo.

Others
23. Recruitment of 2500 teachers and 2500 civil servants after lifting 30yr-old embargo on employment into civil service.

24. Increase of monthly subvention to Cross River University of Technology (CRUTECH) from N165 million to N215 million.

25. Suspension of payment of tuition by indigenes in CRUTECH

26. Expanded government with the highest number of youths by any state.

27. Consistent payment of salaries

28. Up to date payment of pensions to state civil service retirees

29. Tax exemption for low income earners in the state.
30. 23Mega watt power plant along parliamentary road currently used for street lights while awaiting PHED's order to evacuate power to Calabar Metropolis.

This is not bad for a state with an allocation as low as Cross River's.

You forgot to add “crying like a little bîtch on national television” but then again, he’s still better than the last buffoon we had in Bayelsa State ie Seriake Dickson and the present slowpoke Douye Diri project wise cool
