You can increase Page load speed of web pages by asking visitors to save and re-use the files included in your website. And to do this you have to activate a process known as caching. Please kindly read this article carefully for better understanding What is browser caching? Your website is made up of series of files which may include images, audios, graphics, text contents, videos and so on. Did you know? Each time a visitor visits any of your web pages, these files are needed to be download before they display If the visitor visits the website as for many times needed the files will be downloaded all over again The page load time will increase because downloading files take some while The visitors lost much network data to view your web page because he needs to download files on every visit You may loss traffic on your website due to your poor load speed The conditions stated above are more reasons you need to leverage the caching of your website. You can read more about levearaging browser caching here. How does it work? The logo of your website for instance is not likely to change so frequently, you can instruct your user's browser to save this logo as cache for a week. By doing this, whenever the users visit your website again they need not to download the logo but make use of the downloaded one until it's completed a week(according to instructions). By the web server telling the browser to store these files and not download them when you come back saves your users time, data cost and your web server speed. Importance of Caching Leveraging browser caching is highly important because it reduces the load on your web server, which reduces the load time for your users to view a webpage.
