Nigeria ‘s total public debt is expected to fall to N38trn by December 2021, said Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Zainab Ahmed. The Minister mentioned this during her presentation to the Senate Committee on Local and Foreign Debts on Tuesday, 3 November. The Minister said: “The total public debt stock comprising the foreign and domestic debts of the federal and state governments and the Federal Capital Territory amounted to N31.01 billion (USD 85.90 billion) as at 30 June 2020. “It is expected, based on the current approval, to grow to N32.51 trillion by 31 December 2020 and N38.68 trillion by 31 December 2021.” READ MORE: https://basevibes.com/2020/11/04/nigeria-debts-will-hit-n38-68trn-in-2021-finance-minister-projects/
