Discussion for Mature Minds

Many times, I wonder if there is more to a political seat eg President than the individuals that fill the seat. Does the position corrupts an upright person or those who have messed up are morally bankrupt before assuming office?

I took a poll with some persons and I realized there wasn’t any clear cut decision. Though the participants aren’t representative enough, I strongly feel there is more to this.
