Am strong anti Tinubu not cause of his influence in Lagos, removal of PDP or his riches but the fact that he eyes the presidency (it's still his right to do so) and divides the south but the fact remains that without Tinubu , there would have been nothing like APC or another strong opposition in Nigeria.

Pre 2015 , Tinubu attended Democratic convention in America during Obama first nomination with some south Westerners and established a connection with the Democrats. When in 2014 Buhari won the candidate of APC, Tinubu used that connection to get to Obama and state departments who provide every pressure to ensure that PDP tries nothing stupid , at the end GEJ made the call..


Would it best say Buhari supports Democrats now?? HELL NO..


When Trump defeated the democrats, Buhari administration hated him , first cause of Trump love for Jews and a bit indifference for Muslims and also for the pressures they keep on Buhari , don't forget Trump administration squeezed out over 300 million dollars from Buhari for defence equipments (still not delivered) which he initially refused to deal with but had to do so for the sake of re election. Rumours had it that Trump even insulted him..


But does all this make Buhari administration to support the democrats ?? HELL NO

Despite this administration hatred of Trump , they cannot deny that fact that Trump has no African foreign policy and have no real intention of influencing things in Nigeria ahead of 2023 so long as he keeps squeezing out a deal.. Trump have dealt peaceful with most tyrants so long there is a deal (remember the Saudi murder of the journalist) This is the AMERICAN FIRST POLICY


The democrats on the other hand was once an ally of Buhari because of Tinubu's vouch that he is a reformed democrat, Buhari knows that Democrats will be a pain in his ass if the assume power as they democrats will seek to uphold American value of anti democratic forces as Buhari has done all his tenure..


Even tweets from top democrats during the protest shows what will come if they get to power ..


As it stands now, APC is not in the good books of with Republican or Democrats but will rather deal with the evil they know (Trump) , as the Democrats will seek to cut the head of the monster they planted in Nigeria ..



Am sure Tinubu and co who introduced Buhari to democrats will deny him before them once democrats wins..

I agree all American presidents can be unpredictable but they still have unique values they uphold .

I believe APC and Buhari will choose Trump staying and not having the WTO as that preserves their political chance in the future than having a fresh Joe Biden ...
