The first solution I proffer if we must solve our security challenges is to build a border fence round Nigeria. There are two many illegal entries into the country and it is therefore difficult to check arms smuggling and criminals can enter the country from any of these illegal entries estimated to be about 1,500. No country can successfully fight insecurity when its borders are porous.

And don't tell me it can't be done. If oil pipes can be laid from South to North most of which passed through forest and even under water, it can be done and should be done. No legislator has ever proposed this kind of bill but it is never too late. If we don't do it now, one day, the terrorist will overthrow Nigeria or throw it into a more bloody war.

What is your take?
