Its well! Personal view though, it appears NCDC is trying hard to keep themselves relevant at all cost. No doubt there are Covid-19 cases in Naija but these scores have no trend and don't make sense anymore.

They're propping up the figures so they'll get justifiable reasons to activate a second lock down to punish Nigerians for coming out to protest and challenge them.

If symptoms of Covid 19 include barking like a dog or dancing naked in the market square, it would have become history by now. Infact we would have forgotten that such a pandemic happened earlier this year. embarassed

Dude, try understand Covid-19 a bit better.

Africa has a young population. Even in the West, a lot of young people catch it without ever knowing.

Nigeria has life expectancy of about 52 years. Basically add up the ages of people who died and divide by the number of deaths say within a year. Very low compared internationally.

In countries where Covid-19 is killing many, most who die are over 75 years old. Of course death rate gradually increases from about 50/55. As illnesses gradually affect people more with increasing age. More illnesses increase Covid-19 severity and death risk.

If Nigeria had life expectancy of even 70 years (more old people around), deaths would be far more.

Early lock down helped too. in the first wave.

With the second wave in many countries and airports and borders still open, with our lax and corrupt system, some people might dodge covid-19 test and enter Nigeria. A second wave should be expected. Hopefully very modest.
