I'm a 31-year-old single Nigerian male. I'm hoping to get insight into how marriage as an institution has changed so much in Nigeria.

First of all, the average marriage age (age at which most people, male or female, get married) has probably shifted upwards of 25 for female and 27 for male. It's probably more like 36 for male, 32 for females now.

What are the reasons? Gender roles have become fluid.
