No fewer than three suspected cultists have been reportedly shot dead in Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra State, insideNaija reports.

It was generated that residents of Akwa L.G.A were thrown into shock and distress following the emergence of cultists calling it "War Time" in the town.

According to residents, who witnessed the incident, at least 12 people have been killed in the tragic violence of weapons and gunshot exchanges happening between violent cult gangs, adding that the clash started few days after the #EndSARS protest.

They added that, as of Yesterday, three people were shot dead and left on the street and no one was able to intervene.

As of the time of filing this report, the Anambra State Police Army Command has not released any official statement to ascertain circumstances surrounding the clash between the cultist gangs.
