How To Move Blog Posts Between Blogger Blogs Without Effect

Did you just create a new blog with a better name that well describe your niche and the type of blog you run. And you're thinking of how to move your old blog posts, pages and comments to this new blog without having to copy and paste from the old blog or even ending up duplicating your content on Google search?

Or did you recently discovered that you've written on a number of topics that are somewhat irrelevant to the purpose of you creating your blog, and you're looking for a way to keep them elsewhere so that your blog can look more wholesome to your audience?

Whatever your case may be, here's a step by step guide to walk you through the process of moving (exporting and importing) your blog content from one Blogger blog to another without effect.

1: Sign in to Blogger and click on settings

2: Locate the "Manage Blog" section of the settings and click on "Back Up Content". Afterwards, download your blog content.
This will allow you to have the whole of your blog content (i.e. your blog posts, pages and comments) on your device as a file. It's usually saved to your documents or download files.

3: Open the blog where you wish to have the blog posts and pages. I call it the preferred or destination blog.

4: Go to its settings like you did in #2, then import/upload the downloaded file. Then you're done.

Meanwhile you can choose to automatically publish all the posts and pages or not.

Congratulations! You just moved your blog contents to your preferred blog.

But what about how to deal with the effect I.e. in a case whereby your post had already been indexed by Google. How do you avoid duplicating your content on Google search or even ending up getting scolds by Google?

Apart from that, how about your social shares? Remember they'll still be point to the old blog so, how do you deal with it?

If your interested, then kindly check out the full guide on how to move your blog content (post, videos, files and pages) from one blogger blog to another WITHOUT EFFECT here
