The new INEC acting chairman Ahmed Mu’azu has sworn-in Joseph Chukwuemeka as a Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) at the commission’s headquarters in Abuja.

The swearing-in comes on Monday, hours after Ahmed Mu’azu assumed office following the hand over of the commission’s responsibility to him by erstwhile chairman, Mahmood Yakubu. Mr. Yakubu is awaiting his confirmation following his nomination by President Buhari for another term in office.
