On Saturday 7th November 2020, some members of the Nigerian Police arrested Eromosele at his residence and was taken to the Police station without explanation of the reasons behind his arrest. Mr Eromosele is a graduate of Computer Science from Babcock University and is the founder of Belleful Naija, a charity organisation based in Lagos Nigeria. Like other youths, he took part in the #Endsars protest in Lagos and was not in anyway violent, or part of the looters.
Eromosele was not allowed bail before he was moved to Abuja Police headquarters. He is not a terrorist and he has not done anything to deserve the treatment that is being meted out to him and his family at the moment. The agitation by the youth is especially for these sort of reasons, - Persecution, Oppresion, Injustice, Extra-Judicail Killings, Impunity etc
This government is just not sincere with the people and this is the same reason the youth decided not to have a leader for the protest because they know that they will be persecuted to death just for exercising their basic constitutional right.
This government is completely insensitive to the youths' plight at all and have been very deceitful by saying to Nigeria and the world that it has acceded to the youths' demand which included releasing all Endsars protesters just to calm all nerves and wait till everything is over before picking up the protesters one by one and freezing their accounts.
We all need to raise our voices against Injustice, Oppression and the Persecution that has become the order of the day. Let us make all the noise that we can to get our heroes released.
