He's right though. However the movement has gone beyond EndSars. It's now EndBadGovernance. Strong and dynamic leadership structure is highly needed at this point. Suffice to say that Aisha Yesufu and Falz and a host of other prominent promoters can organize this movement. Their loyalty is not in doubt. Aisha can't be swayed neither Falz. 3 Likes |

Yes, those sponsoring such movement should look for common problems that cut across all communities and state of the country. For example, we can pick a niche like end hunger, cut national assembly allowances etc. Pick 36 state coordinators 774 local government representatives. Make sure no Ipob members is selected to represent any of the eastern states to avoid attacks on hausa and northern traders. 5 Likes |

The #EndSARS was was born out of Nigerian youth dwmans for fundamental change in the system. Many of the participant started out with the desire to birth a new Nigeria but the protest soon gave way to the sectional interest of some people ans I will put it straight. The political view of Nigerian youth is partitioned across ethnic line between the pro PDP, Jonathan and anti APC/Tinubu of the south East and the progressive, somewhat indifferent south West. When a south eastern man criticize Buhari regime, he cite Jonathan and PDP regime as the standard for good governance. Most western youth opinion see Buhari as just a continuation of bad government that have been in Nigeria sice at least the return to democracy in 1999. Almost on weekly basis, the South eastern on social media trend Tinubu to drag and spite him as the one who ended the peaceful reign of Jonathan and ochestrated the evil government of Buhari. They accuse Yoruba of being an enabler of bad regime of APC. Most time they were met with scanty responses from Yoruba who counter that the PDP failure gave birth to APC and That the south eastern government are worse off. The protest that broke out was aimed at forcing the government into making concession that will give power to the people. But in the heat of the protest, the anti Tinubu opinion inundated the media space accusing him of being the sole source of Nigerian problem. That the south Easterner prefer a PDP reign in Lagos is not in doubt. On the night of the Lekki shooting. The claim that Tinubu own the Lekki toll gate was reinforced with deliberately concocted fake news, videos, edited print and other incendiary message. The whole thing was skewed to ochestrate an anti Tinubu war. It wasn't surprising the following day, when what was initially an organized protest gave way to burning and vandalization of so-called Tinubu asset. The ripple effect created spread to other state, leaving more casualties that the toll gate shooting. After the Mastermind has achieved what they say aa demystification of Tinubu, they back of the brewing Buhari must resign and started singing 2023. The protest was aimed at political goal 7 Likes 1 Share |
