Farms dey Lagos o. Ikorodu has agric land though long encroached into. Epe has too.

Lagos has many livestock farms. That's agric too. Remember Lagos partners with some Northern states in farming.

Lagos should encourage urban farming. Like rooftop farming, aquaculture and other modern farming techniques.

Hong Kong and Japan with relatively little fertile land are really getting big time into it.

But does the available land warrant these billions?

Is there no money allocated to the plan?

Is there no money allocated to the plan?

A budget is plan that details how a company wishes to allocate monies to certain areas when the money comes (that's the important caveat). It simply means that there's no guarantee that the money will come.

However, they are saying that if it comes, this is how we will share the money. No government in the world executes its budget by 100%. None.

A simple explanation is that Lagos State may hope to generate 20billion from Lekki tollgate and use it to fund its key infrastructure. Now, EndSARS protest happened, meaning that they cannot raise the money again. Sure, the infrastructure will no longer be funded.

And it's vague for someone to see the figure allocated to infrastructure and be shouting "see money!" Meanwhile, it's just a mere plan.

I hope this helps.

Nothing new here, it's still business as usual. The only way the real development can extend to all part of the Lagos is to cripple Tinubu and his Draconian grip on Lagos resources. We must strive to put this man into dustbin then Lagos can have rest of mind and individual governor will rule with peace of mind.

This is not breakdown of the budget.

We need details of the budget as it affects each local government discstrics in Lagos State

Bulk figures will not do it. Lagosians need details also on how the big fugures will be funded. Let us know how much tax, federal allocation and borrowing you intent to do.

Also, can you given us the up to date performance of the 2020 budget including the Co-Vid-19 donations and spendings.

By the way, our major problem in Lagos in not to stop pensions for the previous governors and deputies (we all know that there other ways to compensate for the pension you want to stop). What we need in Lagos is accountability of the IGR in Lagos.

I think the budget for drainage is too small

One of the lagos problem is lack of proper drainage system

Lagos need to be clean at all a time if at all mega city can be accomplished

We residents too need to be clean and take care of our immediate environments

Everything is not about government pls.

Reread about the collabo with Northern states. Those states have land that Lagos can use.

Lagos budget as a whole is peanuts. Around £2.1 billion pounds.

A City the size of Lagos population should have around £6 to £10 billion budget to get by decently.

Just forget Osun or other states with not even up to N150 billion budget.

What percentage of the last year's budget was achieved?

They need to always clarify that as well as explain the definite figures that were allocated to MDAs before proceeding to a New year's budget.
That's how a sane country should run.

They should not be giving us bogus figures every day and be getting a thunderous applause from their fellow criminals and urchins.

That figure was released. If you follow the right handles, you'll get that information. Even during the budget presentation, the governor mentioned the budget performance.
