Nigeria VS Sierra Leone Preview by GoalooNG1: 7:28am On Nov 12, 2020
Nigeria started their AFCON qualification with a 2-1 win over Benin and followed it up with a 4-2 win over Lesotho. No side in the group have scored as many as Nigeria, who have now extended their unbeaten run in AFCON qualifiers to seven matches winning six and drawing one. Six of those seven have produced over 2.5 goals with four returning over 3.5 goals, so action is guaranteed in Nigeria’s matches. The record is more or less the same at home as Nigeria have won their last three AFCON qualifiers played at home each time scoring at least two goals. However, they are in poor form, as Nigeria were only able to draw with Tunisia at 1-1 International Friendly after losing to Algeria at 1-0.

Sierra Leone started their qualification campaign with a 1-1 draw against Lesotho but were soon defeated 1-0 by Benin. This is in line with their form in AFCON qualifiers, as Sierra Leone have won just one of their last 12 matches drawing four and losing seven. Worryingly enough, Sierra Leone have failed to score in six of those 12, although two of those were in goalless draws. Away from home, the Sierra Leone side is yet to win an AFCON qualification game, drawing five and losing ten of their 15 matches so far. The only preparation that Sierra Leone had was a friendly against Mauritania that saw them lose 2-1. Undoubtedly Nigeria will win.
