All Tribe Want To Link Up With Benin by Etrusen(m): 7:46pm On Nov 12, 2020
it is always a thing of joy seeing that various tribes want to link up with Greater Benin but what marvel me the most is some of them who always try to show worth of supremacy by always saying things they cannot prove and some will always tell story half way for their tribal gain for example :

they will say that when Oba Erediauwa was carrying his thank you tour in 1981 a king told him "welcome home my son" but my problem with them is that they will always stop there for their tribal gain thereby removing the response given to that king by Oba Erediauwa in 1981.
they will also say the same when Oba Eweka 11 was crown in 1914 in their king sent a royal messager to the Benin palace in 1916 to deliver a message the Oba saying: " your father greets you" without saying the response given.
Again some with try to associate with Benin by saying that the origin of their king can be heard in the Oba of Benin praise song that keep me wondering how can another man's origin be told in another man's song?
And again some will say Benin is an extension of their kingdom according to their king without quoting the response from the Benin palace as well in order to serve their interest.

Benin undoubtedly remain the only empire in Nigeria whose might was unmatched in pre_ colonial era and its not to be compared to a village with huts everywhere and can barely install a king or those village that where able to wage civil war against their fellow tribal man and in some case suffer uncomfortable defeat as a result of their usual betrayal.

just like every other empire that once existed in the world Benin rose and fell ( 1440_1897) standing for over 350 years expanding with no one to stop it.

the capital of Benin alone is bigger than what anyone could imagine accommodating various tribes that are there to serve the Lordship of the Oba

The difference between Benin and other kingdom in Nigeria can be seen ordinarily even without much explanation
