It's the government misdeeds not theirs. If the Nigerian govt can do the right, nobody would be punished. You don't impoverish people and expect them all to be almajiris.
You don't give them light, no roads, no jobs, you hoard palliatives, what do you xpect them to eat? Nigerian govt is the reason why majority of the youths are scammers. Nigeria govt is the reason why legit business owners are punished abroad.

Only a fool justifies crimes under any guise. Crime is a crime. That is biafraudic thinking

This is a welcome development. Indians have been scamming Nigerians and others since time immemorial.

I just want Nigeria to be disintegrated so that we can part ways with these bastards. They are frustrating all online businesses available to Nigerians and even shamelessly bragging about it. The north keeps it's problems at home. We don't move around the world to disgrace our country.

They came to Nigeria to arrest him?

Las las, I blame the Nigeria government for this. They impoverish the people so much and give them little or choice.

This guy won't be a scammer if he was gainfully employed. But no, they send their kids abroad and give them the cbn jobs while hiding paliatives from the common man with no jobs at all.

Nigeria government is the real scammer!!!

Shut up there! Shut your damned mouth!

You guys spend years abroad and still commit crime because crime is in your blood. The man was arrested in India. How did thr Nigerian government push him to it from here? What about the millions of poor people with bad governments in Africa, why are they not doing it? Why are northerners not doing it?

You admiration and indulgence in yahoo can only be fixed through death penalties. I honestly wish I were a military president in this country you guys will change by force or better still, I will divide the country and let you disgrace yourselves forever in your new country.

Once I saw this on NL front page, I knew an Igbo must be the subject.

Other Nigerians commit more heinous crimes abroad. They don’t make front page.

Nigeria’s annual budget are stolen- the rogues don’t make front page on NL.

Blackmail Igbo to submission so that the rest of the oil producing areas in the Nigerdelta shall be for total grabs, remove the 13% on derivation from the oil producing areas, don’t let Igbo continue with agitation for Biafra because if Biafra goes, the rest of the oil producing areas shall also leave Nigeria - these are all the pressure and blackmail on Igbo are all about.

PROUDLY IGBO.

IGBO AMAKA.

If Igbo is bad, let them have a new country from Nigeria, otherwise, shorruup.

For every crime committed by a Nigerian/Biafran I will always blame the government.

IamHeWrites:
Police in Delhi, India have arrested a Nigerian Onuorah Jideoffor for allegedly duping a man of over Rs 5 lakh (N2.6million) through Facebook, Igbere TV reports.

The 28-year-old was arrested at Mohan Garden on Wednesday in a joint action by Goa Crime Branch and Delhi Police.

It was gathered that he allegedly duped the victim on the pretext of paying customs charges for a “gift” he was getting for the victim.

Igbere TV gathered that the accused had befriended the victim on Facebook using a fictitious name Steve Jose and promised to send him an expensive gift from abroad. Thereafter, the victim was asked to deposit Rs 5.16 lakhs in fictitious accounts used by fraudsters.

A complaint regarding this was lodged on November 6 following which an investigation was carried out.
