If a ministry still has 70% of its budget intact, it gives a sense of a nonfunctional ministry.....Should it not then be scrapped |

I think the reps are missing things up. When a budget is made and approved by the NA, you need cash backing to implement. If there is no fund to implement as a result of non availability of revenue, then there wouldn't be any budget to implement, hence low budget performance. Please, which agency no want spend money once already approved by NA |

tobechi74: Doesn't work that way.. The money are usually not returned back to the government once they allocate a new budget to them.. They smartly audit perfectly and embazzle the rest. |

Sending them back is not the solution. That is not the leadership we desire. Ask them questions; Understand why what happenned. What were the Lawmakers (that are suppose to monitor the budget performance), doing before now. Stop wasting our resources in the name of representation. The lawmakers should do the right thing at the right time. Not reacting to events of the new cycle of budget process. |

Any ministry claiming to have spent upto 80% of their 2020 budget, considering the long period of lockdown and redundancy occasioned by Covid-19 pandemic, must be investigated for financial impropriety |

yanabasee:The time we upgraded fully to secure blockchain decentralized data processing technologies,, that's when this thing you're saying will be fully in use.. Remember that with the present methods of digital operations currently in use by the government, once any office is being probed, fire can easily start off in the office, and then someone would just go and format the central server that contained all the vital information, and then made sure the server caught fire. Thus, all the vital information is lost. But if the secured blockchain decentralized data processing technology is in use, there is no need for any central server. No matter any type of fire incident, the information is still very safe and intact.. .. What am I saying in essence?? Nigeria is not ready yet. |

zeusdgrt: They are used to spending money and most of the so called Legislatures don't understand the nitty-gritty of Budgets and are even more concerned about their own Constituency Projects in the Budgets. |
